We’ve been reading an awful lot in the news about coffee as scientific studies have been coming out of the woodwork linking our all-time favorite beverage to a laundry list of health benefits. So what, exactly, can coffee do for us and why?
Coffee (especially Clean Coffee) is packed with antioxidants such as Chlorogenic Acid (CGA). In plain English, CGA is an antioxidant, or a molecule that inhibits the oxidation of animal tissue. Plainer still? Antioxidants can not only slow, but actually stop damage to our cells. This is very good news, indeed. Studies show that coffee can lower the risk of various diseases, including Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, Type 2 Diabetes, Cirrhosis and various types of cancer (skin cancer, liver cancer, endometrial cancer, etc.). Coffee can also be good for your heart and coincidentally, has been linked to reduced risk of erectile dysfunction – since you asked.
Coffee is also an all-natural mood enhancer, giving you a burst of clean energy and sense of well-being. In fact, studies have even shown that coffee can reduce depression!
Good for your body (AHEM!), good for your mind, good for your soul. Yes, we’re biased, but at this rate, coffee might just be able to bring on world peace. Hey, you never know. In the meantime, drink your Clean Coffee!
